This collection has been inspired by the exclusive Gucci fabric design, Diamante Canvas. The distinctive crisscross pattern was the debut print of Florentine House which fast became Gucci’s trademark and also where the iconic GG emblem was created. This original print was first used on luggage back in the 1930s as one of Gucci’s innovative solutions to prewar leather shortages.
